For alla valid this advice

The historic centre of San Marino can be visited on foot and the Porta di San Francesco, the main entrance to the walls of the city, is located a few hundred meters from the parking lot above.

The old town is perched on the top of Mount Titano and the highest part, where you placed the first tower, is located 750 meters above sea level.

The aforementioned car parks are located at an altitude of around 600 meters above sea level.
It appears that the first part of your walking tour will climb.

The “BY TRAIN” SAN MARINO “can overcome this small or big trouble? How? Using the BY TRAIN SAN MARINO, having the opportunity to:

• take places not visited differently;
• Relive through the narrative history of the oldest Republic in the world;
• can use for only one round trip the cable way from Borgo Maggiore to San Marino.

This will allow those who want to visit the old town, to streamlining physical energies as to reach your parking you’ll have to walk no more dealing with big drops and then only downhill without having to omit nothing of his visit to San Marino.

Not bad idea!!! a visit to San Marino with less effort and with two different types of transport: train and cable way and everything in a short time and in complete safety and comfort.

For those who don’t want to use the cableway, the train will resume the path backwards and bring you back to the starting point of the journey, continuing the narrative.
